It will be 2 awesome years of marriage in July for my beautiful wife and I. Melissa and I are from the caribbean islands of Puerto Rico and Haiti. Can you imagine how much we miss the ocean?! Well, we do. Anyways, we are also going to be first time parents this coming June and we’re so excited! About a year and a half ago the Lord spoke to us through a prophetic word about twins and a double portion annointing coming forth in our lives. So, throughout our pregnancy God has done tons of crazy things to get our attention regarding these “twins” and at this point we’re just trusting in his leadership and choosing to believe what he’s saying. We are currently on staff at the International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City, Missouri. Again, we really miss the ocean as we’re totally land-locked here, but it’s a real honor and blessing for us to be right where God wants us. Truly nothing can compare to being in his will. Our desire is to know the heart of God more and more and to learn to love the way He loves. If we can start to accomplish that, He can take us anywhere in the world, put us in any ‘ministry’ that he wants and we can actually be effective! The only way to truly minister the heart of God to people is to have an understanding of God’s heart for them and have that love in our own hearts. That’s the main jist of our prayer and desire for this life. We want more LOVE! Basically, we’re totally in love with Jesus and want to glorify him with everything we do from raising our family, to our friendships & relationships, to whatever ‘ministry’ we’re part of and every other detail of life. Being a part of IHOP has really helped us establish a solid prayer life and is teaching us that God wants to take us from glory to glory and that real christianity is anything but boring and limited. Life has been amazing since we moved here in May 2006 and we find ourselves hungering more and more for God as time passes…which is why God moved us here at all! Praise God! Ok, so the thing is that we’re expecting twins. It’s a crazy thing, b/c we can only see 1 baby at a time in the sonograms….so far. I say that b/c our first sonogram was a boy & we have the little picture with ‘BOY’ across the top, but every other sonogram after that has been a girl! Apparently if it’s a mistake, it usually goes from girl to boy, not boy to girl. (But it’s not a mistake! 
A year before I got pregnant we got a prophetic word during a conference telling us that a ‘double portion’ was in our future…and again they referred to twins several times. What was interesting was that they obviously had no idea that twins run heavy in Theo’s family, so when they said that we both were in shock! They said alot of other things that shocked us and we happen to be living some of those things out even as I write this! Amazing. So, throughout my 7 months of pregnancy the Lord has been doing all sorts of crazy things to get our attention and convince us that there are actually 2 babies in my belly, not 1. It’s been a wild ride so far and it isn’t over yet!

Hey you guys! Long time no talk. I miss you both like crazy along with all my other IHOP friends. I have re-established some friendships since being back home but I will never be able to relate to them the same since the changes that took place in me during our internship. Congrats on the babies on the way. Lisa bore little Jewel Leona on November 23rd after only 7 hours of labor. May the Lord bless Melissa with the same if not shorter : ) Anyway, she’s beautiful and I can’t wait for you both to see her. You guys will have a blast being parents. Children really are a “bundle of joy.” Love you guys!
